If we know of violence in a household, what should we do?

If there is physical or emotional abuse occurring in a home and you are able to safely inform someone you should absolutely do so. You should notify authorities of what you know and try to help from a distance. If you are able to talk with the victims and they ask for help then help! You just have to think what you would want to be done by others if you were a victim of if it was a family member – what would you do?
